Strümpfelbachtal in Althütte
The nature reserve Strümpfelbachtal is characterized by typical Keuper ravines. It lies in a romantic forest valley with attractive waterways and many springs. An extremely unspoilt hiking trail leads one through the wild and romantic Strümpfelbachtal. A trail starts below the Nonnenmühle, leading along the roaring torrent past picturesque sandstone waterfalls and marlstone banks until it reaches the Wieslauftal. The trail is not suitable for pushchairs, but an absolute must for true nature lovers!
