Take the bus to go hiking and biking

On Sundays and holidays from May 1 to October 29, the tourist buses make the diverse hiking and recreational opportunities of the Swabian Forest accessible. Instead of coming with your own car, you can simply take the bus to reach the hiking or biking trails – in an environment-friendly and uncomplicated way.

A further advantage of using public transport is that you can start hiking at one end and arrive at another from where you can continue by bus. This means you don’t have to return to your point of departure because your car is parked there, but can freely choose the goal of your hiking or biking tour. For instance, you can hike out from your home or hotel and travel back on the bus – or vice versa. As you can see, there are many possibilities of discovering and enjoying the Swabian Forest in an environmentally friendly way. And the VVS tariffs (local public transport rates) are valid on all three bus routes!

All tourist buses are equipped with a special trailer for transporting bicycles, e-bikes and pedelecs.

From Backnang, it travels via Aspach, Sinzenburg and Lichtenberg to Oberstenfeld and further to Gronau, terminating in Prevorst.
