The mills in the Swabian Forest have developed into a real tourist magnet. After all, here we have the greatest concentration of mills in Württemberg and also the largest historical diversity in mill technology. The fascination exerted by these technological veterans is hard to resist whatever your age.

On the annual Mill Day on Whit Monday, most of the mills open their doors for visitors and offer catering. The Mill Hiking Trail connects eleven of the most attractive and still-preserved mills in a circular tour.
